Best OBD II for Volvo S40

Hello Experts,

One of my friend has Volvo S40 and he is looking for a good OBD II for his troubling S40. I would really appreciate your suggestions.

One of my friend has a Volvo S40 and he is experiencing all sort of problem with his S40. The recent one is, the car stops at idle - it works find when gas paddle is stepped on.

Sounds like a bad fuel pressure regulator. Easy fix if that is the problem. Ask him if the car takes an extended cranking time before it starts.

As for an OBD II scanner, do you have a Harbor Freight close by? They have some cheap (quality and price, lol) scanners.
