Default Bluetooth reset possible?

Hi,I have a 2011 volvo S40 T5 and am having issues with the bluetooth system. I picked up the car last July and the system was working perfectly. We haad a battery issue in October and since then, the bluetooth steering wheel buttons have stopped working. Not sure why. I haven't gone to see a dealer but was wondering if disconnecting the battery to reset the system might help prior to going to the dealer? Would a software update be available for the 2011 s40? Would like some input to see what you guys may have experienced with your vehicles. thanks for the help!!

dunno about the newer Volvos but I had a similar experience with my VW CC. On the VW, the Bluetooth box sits under the passenger's seat. The reset is to turn the car off, unplug the unit, then plug back in. Note that this may force you to re-pair (as is Bluetooth pairing not fixing what's broke) your cell phone so make sure you know your pairing key.

That's funny. I have a CC as well. The Volvo is actually my Wife's car. Good to know.
