Where is the bulb failure relay on a 2001 Volvo S40 turbo?

The bulb failure relay light turns on and off.
Does this light come on when a light bulb is out?

It's supposed to, yes. It can also come on with different wattage bulbs due to the difference in resistance. Does it come on when you do something like press the brake pedal? I would make sure each side of the car has the same wattage bulbs, i.e. both brake lights, both reverse lights, all running lights. You don't want a 25 watt bulb on one side and a 50 watt bulb on the other. It does not have to be the expensive dealer bulbs, just has to match.
