Camshaft adjustment unit

The CVVT is the center part of the cam gear above. It allows engine oil to advance or retard the timing of the camshaft. On the old 2000-2004.5 1.9L models there was only one CVVT gear on the exhaust cam. The intake cam had a non-CVVT gear. Now on the new 2.4L and 2.5L I believe there is a CVVT gear on each cam. And according to the prices I find they are very expensive to replace. On the non-turbo 2.4L model for the intake cam gear it's $306.65 at this parts place: VOLVO S40 ENGINE TIMING COMPONENTS 2000-2012 at Swedish Auto Parts ,part number 30646226. The exhaust cam gear is even more expensive at $503.81 , part number 30650585.
Did they say which CVVT gear needed to be replaced?
