CD/Radio Doesn't work at al. Help!!!
Hi all,
I have a2003 Volvo S40. I left one interior light on andstayedout for vacaion throughout the holiday. When I got back, of course, the car couldn't start. I charged the battery via a jump cable. Now the car can start, but the CD/Radio just cannot. No matter which button I push, it just staysoff completely and the rear antenna doesn't rise either.
1. While trying to jump the car, I switched the positive and negativeends bymistake, but onlyfor aminute.Could this be the reason whymy CD/Radio cannot be turned on? I mean, did I break the media center by switching the cable clamps?
2. After jumping the car, I have driven it only forless than five minutes, so the batterymust have not been fully charged. Will the media device come back to work whenthe car getsmore electricity?
3. If there is any other information or clue, please let me know.
Thanks & Happy New Year,
Jim

There is a fuse under the hood in the main fuse panel.
Not exactly sure of the fuse # but it is one of the 3 mounted in the yellow block in the fuse panel.
It doesn't light up at all correct?
Or does it say code or off?

Also, does your radio have an anti theft code. If so when you took the NEG cable off the battery it would require the code before it would work again.
