Hi Guys,

My cigarette lighter isn't working and I'm thinking it's the fuse but which fuse is it?? I drive an 1999 S40 and found an interior fuse box and one under the hood but neither cover says cigarette lighter and I dont know whichfuse to change!! Anyone out there know????

 

You can test them with a test light.
The owners manual should list which fuse it is.

 

Thanks tech but I dont have a manual with the car. Do you know a link to an online manual or does anyone know which fuse it is?

 

Try searching through the forum someone has posted a link to an online manual.
I don't know which one it is. The online wiring diagrams I used to use Volvo shut down.

 

I replaced mine the other day (fuse) and it was top row far left. 20amp....this was on a 01 S40.....you may want to check them all untill you see one that is blown....good luck
