Default The clock disappeared after replacing alternator

Replaced the alternator on a 2006 S40 and now the clock does not show on the dash. My wife really likes the clock. Anyone know where it went?

The alternator job was not a piece of cake but but doable with help from a pair videos on YouTube by 512kjt. The job is easier on a non turbo car, was able to skip removing the throttle and airbox, though a second pair of hands really helped when refitting the belts. Dealer wanted $800, jobber wanted $500, rebuilt part from RockAuto ran $170.

Old joke.

Pilot, writing in maintenance log. "Number two engine missing."

Next entry, by aircraft mechanic. "After short search, number two engine located on port wing."

Solved. Apparently disconnecting the battery turns off the clock, when I turned the clock reset button the clock lit up again.
