digital clock light out

digital clock light out
My 2002 Volvo s40 has a dashboard light prblem. The light on the digital clock is not working. The digital clock works fine, but at night I cannot see it because the light is now out. The clock is located at the bottom of the tachometer on the lower left section of the dasboard.
What light do I replace it with and how do replace it?
Thanks, any help appreciated.

I can't remember which bulb I used but it was not hard to find. I do remember using a magnifying glass to read the bulb markings because the bulb is quite small.
It's a straight forward process. Tilt the column all the way down. Remove 2 phillips screws on the plastic instrument cluster surround. Pull the surround out from under the glare shield and above the steering column. Remove the screws holding the instrument cluster. Pull the cluster out the same way as the plastic surround. The 2 male electrical connectors plugged into the back of the cluster will come free as you remove the cluster. (easy to understand once you see it)
Now all the bulbs are attached to the back of the cluster so find the one giving you trouble and replace it. Installation is reverse of removal. Just line up the 2 male electrical connectors with the open slots of the cluster and carefully press the cluster in until you hear the connectors click into place.
