Egr Valve Location

trace the vacuum lines per the diagram - it should also have lines that hook into the intake manifold. Yes you can clean out the EGR valve - check out Youtube for some generic vids on how to find your EGR and how to clean it. There are also products like Bardahl which are designed to clean such parts without removal. Curious why you think you need to clean out your EGR... running rough or CEL etc? Sorry I can't be more specific as I own a 2000 S40 and a 95 850T... Is yours a turbo?

Yeah okay, I can not find anything so far online about where the egr is located. A few of the pvc hoses connect to the oil filter assembley, however I have no idea if that unit can be removed with spillage. The car is not a turbo. The reason for cleaning it out is because I want to get the best fuel to air ratio and just to keep things running smooth.
I you know of a good place to check for some sort of diaphram of parts and where they are located, that would be great. Maybe a volvo oem parts dealer?
