Default Engine Hesitation with Check Engine Light Flash

Any help or thoughts on this problem with a 2001 s40 1.9 T:

Recently with a hard acceleration (i.e. passing, or simply flooring the gas) results in a jerking sort of hesitation. The check engine light will also flash on and off for a few seconds.

I have about 112,000 miles on the car, I don't drive it very hard and never have. I've had it since it was new; all maintenance is up to date; the plugs were last changed around 85K miles.

Should I change the spark plugs again?

I'm hoping this isn't the turbocharger getting ready to go bad.

Any other ideas on this?

Thanks very much.

Change the coils. 2 of them. You can buy the coils at Autozone and Advance Auto for fairly cheap. About $45 each.

The coils are in a very high temp area above the plugs.
