Good day folks,

I'd appreciate feedback on this before I spend money at the dealership. I have owned my 2004 Volvo for about 6 months and the engine light just went on last week, it has 56K. Can anyone give some info as to what this might be? The manual said to check the gas tank cover which I did, so I am not sure what else it could be. I prefer to be prepared- thanks.

 

Really it is hard to say it could be from 1 of 100 different things that made the light come on.

 

go to Autozone and let them run it on their diagnostics....it only works on the top of the engine, but it may be able to give you some ideas of what to look for.
