I believe you would be better of with the PH2 engine.The PH1 was paired with a different tranny and engine management even the shafts if I'm not mistaken.Don't complicate your job just do a straight swap for a PH2.

Thanks for the response. The donor was almost free, running condition. I checked compression and leak down. All is well.
So far I have the donor engine out. Starting on the bad engine removal tonight.
