Default FPR question?

If you take the FPR out should you be able to suck air through it from the vacum shaft?

No you shouldn't. It should pull vacuum and hold.

When you say take it out though do you mean the entire thing from the fuel rail or only the metal section?

If the metal part is out and the plastic housing is still on then you will be able to blow air though because the diaphram is not in there.

Did you check it like I have explained many times on the site?

After the car sits for a while pull the hose off where it attaches to the intake. If there is gas in there it is bad. And if you can smell gas in the hose it is bad.
