Front end noise/vibration
I've got a 2007 Volvo S40 and recently there has been some noise/vibration coming from the front end. It is a humming noise almost like a bad aftermarket exhaust, and I can occasionally feel some vibration in my foot from the pedals. It gets louder when speeding up from approx. 10-45mph, and gets a louder when I let off the gas to decelerate. It also seems to be worse when I turn left, and while it is still there, it seems slightly better turning to the right. Has anyone had this same issue or know what I need to be replacing. Hubs/axles???? It has new bridgestone tires that were placed on it about 4 months ago, but no issues until past few weeks. Thanks for any help.
Did you solve your problem? I have a similar problem. Vibration under accel especially up hill under load. It did it very slightly when i bought it with 25k now at 52k and out of warranty it is starting to get borderline annoying. Just curious if you found a fix.
I installed a new Bridgestone Potenza G019 tires on my wife's 2000 Volvo S70 couple of months ago. I drove it last week and there is really annoying noise and vibration coming from the front of the car.The noise accelerate when the car do so.I replaced the tie rods(inner & outer) on both sides and nothing changed. All engine mounts are checked. They are OK.When I drive the car I have a filling that the tires aren't perfect circle
or there is a flat part on them.Any suggestions ?
I will appreciate.

Not sure on the S70. Might try asking in that part of the forum. On my S40 the vibrations were caused by 2 cracked rubber engine mounts. The front and rear round ones under the car. The cracked rubber allowed the engine to rotate aft.
I seem to have rust on my brack pads but not just regular rust. I have rust on the side of the pad near the rim. It makes more noise the faster I go and when I make turns. I think because I bought the car from the dealer it developed the rust and it became worse when I drop the car during moist weather. Im going to have to change my pads and rotors to get rid of the problem even though I have a pretty good amount of wear left on the pads.
