Default Front wheel brake splash guards

I have had to look into replacing the brake plates (splash guards) on both of my rear wheels of my 2002 Volvo s40. I need to know if these are only on the rear wheels or are they on the front wheels also?

If they are on the front wheels what are the parts numbers?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

What are the part numbers for the rear splash guards, and can they (both rear and front splash) be installed during a routine tire rotation? After all the tires are coming off anyway to be rotated.

access to the splash guards requires caliper and disk removal so you will need to remove the wheels but its a much bigger job than just rotating tires.

Default Is it time to replace the spalsh guardrs now?

Okay at this point in time, I must replace the whole brake assembly, brake pads and brake rotors on each wheel. I must even replace the stabilizer links. My question is during this major brake overhaul and replacement is it a good to replace the tire splash guards? After all I will be disassembling all four wheels on the 2002 Volvo s40.

It seems that now this repair is much more elaborate that simple tire rotation. So is it time to replace splash guards now?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you have it down that far, the splash shields would be easy.

Okay, I will buy them. I know that I need to replace them.

Can I get the lower cost Mitsubishi splash guards that fit the 2002 Volvo s40? If so what are their part numbers? I want guards for all four wheels.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.
