Thanks for adding me to the forum.
I have a 2002 S40 (Facelift), needing a new head gasket, water pump, valve stem oil seals, timing belt, etc...
I have removed all wires, pipes, belts, brackets and bolts. Everything is now loose, but I cannot get the head to move. As the cams are out, and all valves are closed, I thought I would turn the engine over manually, and it would loosen. No luck! (Engine turns over very easily, though the spark plugs are still in??)
Please could someone cast a drop of enlightenment on my sea of ignorance, and tell me what I am doing wrong.
