This is my daughter's car and don't have it in front of me. There is a hard plastic tube that connects somewhere on drivers side on top of engine that keeps popping out and when it happens the car dies and won't start. Put the hose back in and it starts back up. The connector has a red ring where it goes into the engine. Suppose that connector is shot and needs replaced so it doesn't keep popping out. Any ideas what that is and how to get a hold of one of those? thanks for any help!

 

You might need one of these - the hose won't stay in if the red plastic breaks. I have replaced a few for that problem. 9146615

So I don't break this in the future, how does the connector work - how do you disconnect that without breaking the connector?
