Hello all,
I have a 2008 Volvo S40 T5. I have been pondering this for a long time but never asked anyone. My car does not honk when I lock it, only the lights flash because I told it to in the radio controls. The vehicle headlights are always on any time the car is on. The only way I can turn them off is if I turn the lights to be only parking lights. I was wondering if y'alls cars operate the same way? or if mine is an oddball? I do find it odd that the car does not honk when I lock it.

 

My 2005 T5 acted the same way as yours.
