Exclamation Help Major wheel/ hub problems!

hi there im new to this forum so go easy:-)
i have a 2002 Volvo s40 1.8 but i hit a kerb today at about 10mph and now my wheel seems to be bent. on further investigation i found out it was not the wheel because i tried a good wheel on that side and it still made a rubbing noise. when the vehicle is driven forwards the wheel does not run true although i know for a fact the wheel is good? i have jacked the car up and cant feel any play or see any damage. when i refit the wheel i started the car and let it tick over in 1st with the wheel off the floor and it ran true but when i let it back down is seems to be twisted somehow? could i have bent the hub?

The hub and knuckle are pretty stout. Usually the weakest link in a curbing is the tie-rod. The other possibility is a bent control arm.

You would probably get more help if this was posted in the correct forum
