Default Help me please!!!!

I am having a oil leak problem with my exhaust Solenoid on top of the head , I just replaced the solenoid gasket and its still leaking, I didn't use gasket dressing, should I? Or could the solenoid be damaged or could it be the head?

The last time I replaced my gasket I over-tightened a bolt and broke it. Did you use a torque wrench? The aluminum head can strip out too. I don't see a reason you can't use RTV other than it makes it difficult to clean later, same as with other dressings.

Have you run the engine to check if you can see the leak?

I did not use a torque wrench, could it be leaking due to a clogged Pcv valve oil trap?
And yes when the engine is running I see it leaking out the gasket

It's hot pressurized oil already. Personally I'd look for the simple stuff first. Incorrect torque or stripped bolt or uneven mating surface due to dirt or other contaminates.
