Question How do I disable the headlight wipers?

Hi guys,
I bought my S40 in 2001 from a US military dealer in Germany. When I told him I wanted Canadian specs it showed up with those funny little wiper washers on the headlights (that were not included on the US version). Now it would appear the motors are "weak" and they end up parked all cockeyed and look funny. I have no interest in fixing them so I tried pulling each of the fuses in the passenger compartment fuse box (10 & 14, what a pain to get at ) but each had an effect on the main wiper washers. Is there any way to disable these little monsters?

Thanks in advance

Tim

Yea, disconnect the connector next to the head light connectors.

US version has them. You can reset them after they stuck.Lock the car then open it then put the key into p2.The wipers should try to finish the cycle. If they can not then they are stuck mechanically. There is a plug for each just front of the radiator.Open up the hood and just pull them apart.
