How2 Fix DustFender on s40?
Hi, Thanks for your help wrt my flat tires post. I have recovered my s40 from the shop with V tires. But the shop
didn't fix the dust fender(dustguard?) under the two passangers doorside. They did successfully repaired the dust fender on the back wheel side. By dustfender, I mean the plastic black rail(?) on the bottom edges of the car. The dustfender is still loose under the passanger door. can I glue them together using plumber epoxy? How much will a volvo dealer charged? It's a 10 year old s40, is it worth getting a volvo dealer to fix it or simply paste it back using plumber epoxy?
Are original S40 wheels/rims made of aluminum? what does it mean by I have to retorque aluminum rims/wheels after 25 miles?
thanks. posterv401

You might only need new clips to secure the panel. Take a look and see if the clips broke.
Yes the original rims are aluminum. The S40's had a slight problem with the lugs coming loose at times. I would double check to make sure they are tight.
