I have a 2001 S40, and it has been running fine, but in the last 2 weeks it has been kind of hard to start up.
I was thinking because of the cold weather. Just last Thursday I was at a restuarant and my car would not start.
I will only start an stay running if I place my foot on the gas pedal and if I let it off, my car will turn off. Then my brother told me to check my oil. It was real low but no light came on. I am very good about my oil changes but this time, I kind of forgot. I hope I did not mess up my engine. I am afraid of the outcome. It has 88,000 miles on it and I was in the process of scheduling he maintenence for mid April but I probably need this done ASAP.
Any ideas or suggestions?

It can be various things? check your spark plugs and the wires and make sure everything is connected? Also have your fuel pressure regulatorchecked? I would also check all connections to your airfilter box and make sure nothing looks out of place there. Did you have a check engine light before this happened?

I get my oil change between 3,000-3,500 miles, but this time it was a tad bit longer.
I went this past Friday to get the maintence done. They fixed the problem. One was something to do with the fuel pressure (I left the paper in the car), I needed spark plugs and some other minor things. But my car is running a lot better. I think in 2 years, I am going to purchase the
S60. Has anyone ordered any stereo equipemnt from Crutchfield? I have 6 speakers, the ones in the front door panel is the ones I want to
replace.
