Default I Seafoamed my S40 today

I did the intake method with the curved straw.

Cats are blocked now. O2 sensors are shot. And the fuel line is so clogged nothing is getting through.

Naw, I'm kidding. It was fine. I didn't get nearly as much smoke as the videos you see online. I think it was already really clean. I'm driving for Thanksgiving so I wanted it done for the trip.

Did you pour the last half in pretty fast, then shut off the engine for 5 (IIRC) minutes or so. THEN when you start it up, it's gonna smoke like a coal-fired locomotive.

I followed the directions exactly, including the shut-off period after finishing the bottle. It smoked a bit but not all that much. I went out to some back roads nearby and drove "aggressively" per the directions. It sounds and runs great, but it always has.

What a disappointment! ;-) I haven't Seafoamed my V50, and don't recall if I did my V70 T5, but I've fogged the neighborhood with my Jeep and Acura. I guess the good news is that it means that your intake system was pretty clean. I swabbed my V50's intake manifold out with acetone-soaked rags when I had it apart to change plugs, so might not get too much smoke out of mine either... sigh...
