Hey everyone, I am new to these forums so bear with me please. I have a Red 2005 Volvo S40 T5 FWD.

She has been great to me, but I think it's time to make some changes. I can't really say what exactly my goal is for her, but I want her to be faster for sure. I know that the more power I put into her the more I will have to do to the engine, drivetrain, transmission, suspension and so on. I haven't done anything to it myself, but, when I bought it the only thing done aftermarket were HID lowbeams and a K&N Cold Air Intake. My first question is simple, where should I start? I have had thoughts of tuning it to see how it does, but then I started thinking about not tuning it until I have made further performance upgrades. My second question is, where to start looking for parts/upgrades? I have tried simply googling it, but I always end up lost. The last question I have for now, what are my options for upgrading the stereo system? I have the 05 so there is no AUX port, which is inconvenient. I can only listen to the same 6CD's so many times before it get's old, and I HATE radio commercials lol. Is there any touchscreen system that can be installed that will work with all the functions of the climate control, CD settings, etc.?

I don't remember what guys are doing for aux inputs. But also look over at swedespeed.com in the S40/V50 section... Lots going on there as far as tuning, and other custom projects.
