Some dash lights are out. I ordered an instrument cluster from a used parts guy. Other than the odometer is there anything else on there that needs reprogramming? Can I just use the LEDs?

The LEDs can be transferred. They are surface mount, and are of several colors. Hand unsoldering took me two soldering irons at once. The gage needles must be removed - they can be pulled straight up.

I procured a used instrument cluster and it plugged in and installed in minutes. Everything worked perfectly except I have to look into getting the odometer re-set. It shaved 80Kmiles off of mine and there;s no way for me to re-set it. I noted the discrepancy on a door label but I like seeing those fewer miles for a while.

 

I got a used DIM also. When I tent tried it, it functioned normally too, except, in my case, I had 40,000 EXTRA miles on the odo. In addition, there were three service reminders that popped up.

It seemed better for me to just transfer the "used" LEDs to the original DIM.

Please check back in a couple of months with an update about how the replacement is doing. VIDA specifies a download when the DIM is replaced, and they must have SOME real functional reason aside from dealer profit.

 

Why don't you just replaced the burned bulbs from the used cluster? as for the miles you can if you go see the dealer $$ IF they want and know how to. You will see the miles on the used cluster otherwise.
