Issue while pumping gas for 2005 S40
I purchased a 2005 S40 3 months ago , a used car with high mileage (about 164k km when I baught it), it's my first car and I am very happy with it. It's in great condition and I don't have any issue with it beside this one:
When I am pumping gas, the gas pump will jump and stop fueling before the tank is even close to full, i.e., I went in for gas after the gas light went on, the gas pump will jump off and stop fueling before it even get to 10 liters and it will constantly do that as I try to fill it up. I noticed that if I pump the gas slowly, this problem occurs less frequently. Also, I tried lifting the pump nozzle up while pumping to a point where I can see gas going into the tank, and I discovered that if I pump fast (at full speed) the gas bubble builds up rapidly, which I think causes the pump to jump. I took it in to a volvo dealer once and they told me it was because the gas tank filter (something inside gas tank that let out the air when you're pumping so the pressure doesn't build up) is dirty and pressure build up fast hence caused the issue, and they have cleaned the filter; however, the issue still exist.
Can any one help me narrow down the cause?

Thanks for the reply, is it possible to check the fueling pipe myself or I have to ask dealer to do it? As for accident, the "car proof" report is clean, unless there are off record accidents which I would have no way of checking.
