Default s70 t5 Dies while driving and idling

So I just bought my s70 t5 today literally like 3 hours ago. I drove it home about 50 miles. Everything was working fine and shifting fine. No problems at all. I picked up a friend of mine to show him the car and turned down a road. I was doing about 35 MPH and the engine started sputtering and I was getting no response while I pushing the gas pedal down. The check engine light came on and I pulled over. I waited a few minutes and started the car again and it worked fine. I drove it to the gas station to fill it up (even though it was at 3/4 of a tank). As I was trying to leave the gas station the car would start and the RPMs would bounce around and then die. I turned the car off for a few minutes again. I started it up and it ran fine. No problems at all. The idle is constant. Now it sits in my driveway because I'm afraid to drive it anymore. I called my buddy over and hes going to pull the check engine codes for me so I will have those in about an hour. Any ideas until then? I'm really disappointed. I've literally had the car for no more then 3 hours. The timing belt and the tensioner and the serpintine belt were just changed 2 days ago. The oil in it is about a week old. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

First I would check the fuel pump relay. If that checks fine then check the pump.

Just cleaned it cleared the code and put it back together. Started it up and the idle bounced around and then died. Any other ideas?

It almost sounds like it is running out of gas that's why I said relay and/or pump.

Well I drove it to work and back. Still running fine. I should have a new MAF sensor by Wednesday. Still not sure how safe it is to drive it without it plugged in.

You won't hurt anything driving it that way, (I drove mine for a few weeks without it connected). I hope you bought a Bosch sensor, the generic ones do not always work.
