Key cylinder won't turn to position III (starting)

I want to thank you so much! I just did this and it works! The only thing the round disc keeps going back into the bad position. Do I have to drill a new screw hole?

I read that a piece of metal in the cylinder/ tumbler breaks and causes you to not be able to turn the ignition all the way. I got the car to start this morning by turning the electronic switch while the key is in the ignition.

Is there anyway to rig this or fix it so I can at least turn the key all the way? I would rather not have to pay for new keys and a cylinder/ tumbler and programming

IF YOU GET WIRING DIAGRAM U CAN SEE THAT IGNITION ON 3 IS OK TO RUN THEN YOU JUST NEED PUSHBUTTON FOR START CIRCIUT WHICH IS IN WIRING GOIN TO IGNITION SWITCH which cost about $10 to sort ...hey it won.t be original but it works and is cheap
