Kind of a Silly Question
I just moved to up up UPstate New York, I am basically in Canada haha. Anyway, this is the first time I have been on the east coast and owning a vehicle. We got our first snow and whatever chemical/salt they put of the road my car looks like it was just coated this white film (I assume the salt).
What type of typical care should be taken with the types of conditions that my S40 is going to be subjected to on a daily basis? The car itself was born and raised up here so I would assume it has that special undercoat under the car, but I know what they say about assumptions. I just don't want the Volvo looking like a metal eating disease is taking joy by eating huge pieces like I see on so many older vehicles in the area.
