hi just wondered if anyone can help i have a s40 ive just had the dpf and boost pipe done it runs lovely but then out of nowhere it will go into limp mode i will kill the ignition and start it again and it runs fine its getting gradually more often theres no warning lights and its not overheating.

 

did you scan for any stored codes? also what year and do you have any other mods?

 

hi thanks for reply no i havnt scanned for codes yet i will on monday ive noticed its using coolant and theres a sludgy smeg in the oil cap and tank nothing on the dip stick i just thought if it was anything to do with the head gasket wouldnt it run rought and wouldn't i get smoke from exhaust its not overheating and there are no warning lights on?? it a 2010 Rdesign
