Hi my name is john and i recently just bought an 2005 S40 T5 Volvo and I am right now installing a K&N Typhoon intake into it and I am looking for suggetsions on what i should do about the exhaust I'm thinking a flowmaster crossover muffler I think that's the right model name but I not sure, but anyways if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appriciate it.

 

I was also wondering what is the bigger pipe about foot and a half long exhaust pipe that get's about 3.5 -4 inches around that is a couple feet in front of my muffler it looks like it's jsut a air reducer but I'm not sure, is there anyone out there that can help me? because I was thinking of just cutting that out and putting a straight pipe in it's place. Will that screw anything up? Also my 2005 S40 T5 FWD Volvo has a Turbo if that matters at all in helping me.
