Default Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauge

Hey everyone,

Quick question, can you install a mechanical oil pressure gauge and continue to allow the stock idiot light to still work? If so, how?

Install a t-split into the existing bung and run the stock unit and mechanical line from the t?

Or does anyone else have a different place to tap into.

Car is an 05 2.4i.

Thanks

Thanks for response, but any further details? Or just use the T split from the existing port and run both off of that split?

bump, anyone know of an additional port I can tap into? Gauge is mounted and wired just need to tap into the engine and run the line.
