Hey guys im looking into buying a 2007 s40.

currently i drive a '95 integra. and i dont know how many of you here are like me, but personally... i love my music. my integra has pioneer headunit, rockford amp, and two 12" JL subs. beastly bumping.

ANYWAYS, i love everything about the s40 so far except...i have not seen ONE s40 with any aftermarket audio installed at all... i looked in the forums here and at cardomain.com i see very nice exterior/engine stuff but never any audio! wheres the indash players? the subs? personally the dash for the volvo looks ugly to me, looks like a phone implanted into the car =/ does anybody have any pictures of aftermarket audio in a volvo s40? 2004 or higher?

I know at www.cructchfield.com they let u find your car and then they show you what fits, theres tons of stuff that do fit! but i never see it on any of the volvos....

Good news, I own a car audio store and we put in a video and audio system from alpine. we custom painted the dash and relocated the heater control disp. I am selling the car with all the mods already done any questions feel free.

I have the 2004 S40 T5 and the factory stereo absolutely rocks.

It has 5.1 surround sound and 750 watts of power with the Volvo subwoofer option.

you should check out the premium Volvo audio before you go aftermarket

 

S40 gets the Dynaudio system right? You would be pretty hard pressed to beat it. Certainly would not be able to touch it with stuff you can get at Best Buy.
