Default Newbie HELP!

I have a 2005 S40 and I have a noise that gets louder the faster I get. 60+. It sounds like it comes from the left front. Now before you say....I have had these things done.

CV joints replaced
All Hubs/bearings replaced
Rotors replaced
New brakes
bearing axle replaced
4 new tires

I am tired of dropping money into it and not getting the issue resolved.

I still have the issue! Anyone had this problem or know of a fix?

New members is just a place to introduce yourself and your car. If you need help you should post your questions or problems under the proper sub-topic. In your case S40, so I moved your question there (here).

I see this was a duplicate, don't do that. Just post it in your cars section where it belongs.

Ouch, that has to be a ton of money. Can you describe your issue a bit more? When you are at speed and the noise is loud can you shift into neutral and check if the sound remains?

Does the noise change or remain constant while turning? While braking? Over bumps?

More information is better as it might remind someone of an issue they have already been through.

It is only at the high rate of speed.

I have not put it in neutral to see if it remains but I will try so.

Could it be wind related? Ever see a car with a piece of plastic hanging down underneath and into the wind stream? On my 2005 there is a large plastic piece that must fit behind the front airdam such that air does not catch it. Also, there are several plastic pieces that could be pushed by airflow into the tires and rub. You see any plastic pieces that looked scuffed clean?

I put it in neutral and noise is still around. I cannot see any loose pieces. I am at a loss.

It's there somewhere. I once had a loud rattle that I could not pinpoint until I crawled under and found a small rock bouncing around between the exhaust pipe and the heat shield. Who is doing your work?
