MY HEAT AND AIR CONTROLS DO NOT WORK I NEED HELP FINDING A SOLUTION I have a 2001 volvo S40 THAT HAS NO HEAT. I'VE CHECKED THE FUSES AND THEY ARE OK.......I NEED HELP OR ADVICE AS TO WHERE i NEED TO CHECK NEXT. MAYBE A RELAY?

 

is the blower operating normally? if so, and you are getting a/c then check the coolant level. if the coolant level is to lw then the heater core will not operate properly.

 

actually none of the controls are working...be it, air, heat etc. I'm hoping there is a relay or something that has gone bad......any more thoughts on my problem?

 

Did you check both fuse boxes? One under the dash, one in the engine compartment?

Has your car had the recall done for the blower motor?

 

This sounds like the fan resistor has gone bad. If you are not getting any fan power no matter where you set the fan speed then it probably is the resistor (it's in the fan housing).
