Volvo discontinued the S40/V50 all across the globe to make way for the new V40.
Not sure when Volvo is going to release the new V40 or if there will even be a sedan version on the market.

really, thought they just stopped shipping it to the us. thanks. just did some research and found out they do still make it for 2012 but only sold around 2100 in the us for 2011 so they dont import them here any more.
