Default O2 Sensor

I have a check engine light comes on for a couple of days on my 2000 S40. Then it disappears for a week.
After scanning the car it showed code P0133 O2 Sensor CKT Slow Response ( Bank 1 Sensor 1).
Did anybody have this problem?

I understand that there are 2 sensors - front and rear. I could locate only one attached to the left side.
-Which one this code applies to and where it is located?
-Does it mater what sensor to buy, generic or Bosch?
-Is there anything else needs to be done after replacinga sensor?

I appreciate your response.

I had this happen on my 2001 s40 while it was still under warrenty. I don't know what brand sensor it was, however, they replaced it and reset the check engine light and no problems since. 91,000 miles
