Default OBD2 and Immobilizer?!

Hi,

Just sat into my 2001 S40 to try and read the codes, plugged in the unit, plugged it into my laptop and tried to start the car.

No go. The immobilizer is now having at me. Have I gone and done something funny to the ECU by merely plugging in my OBD reader?!

I did manage to start it remotely from my remote starter, but it's as if it's not reading the key properly.
I hope it was just a once-off occurrence. I'll leave it alone to reset overnight and see again in the morning.

No need to start the car to read codes. Just turn the ignition to ON after hooking up the reader.

Did it act up the next morning?

Now, it's behaving itself perfectly. Most bizarre. I went in and read the codes last night, P0015 (Camshaft B over-retarded) - solenoid, I'd imagine.
Also, I'm wondering about my manifold pressure - it gives 4psi (absolute) at idle. Must go and see what happens at higher RPM as I cannot hear my turbo!
