Hi,

My volvo s40 has a Passenger Door open warning on the dash. This prevents the autolock working and also leaves on the light in the footwell passenger side.
When I try to lock it from inside it makes the buttons pop back up.
The key fob allows me to lock the car from outside alright.
Any idea guys ??

 

check out the door's contact switch button to see if its jammed or moving freely
