I am getting a false warning that the rear passenger door is open. On most cars there is a simple plunger switch that tells the car whether door is open, and it is easy and cheap to replace (i've had to do it several times on my Mercedes). I'm not seeing that on the xc90 rear door. Is it built into the lock or something? thanks

 

the door lock assembly is the part that tells the module if the door is open or not. if its staying in the open position then its probably bad. its easy to replace since you dont have to drill anything out of the rear doors if i remember correctly.
