Hi All I am hoping someone could help me here.

A while ago I had to clean the contacts inside the front nearside door as the temp gauge (located in the door mirror) this was also not letting the door lock, but it would open with the central locking.

I have a (hopefully) separate problem

The central locking does not open the door, or lock them, The rear can be opened with the interior handle, but the front does not with the indoor handle.

If i listen carefully there is a feint clicking in the door, I don't want to damage the interior panel if i can help it, is there a knack to getting the panel out when the front door is shut?

I have a 05 s40 SE Sport?
