So my car is whistling and im pretty sure its the pcv. Can you tell me where it is?

 

Right below the intake manifold, bolted to block.

 

I cant find it 8( is it more to the right or left??

Just left of and above the starter motor. Under the inlet manifold.
Very difficult to spot due to lack of space.
Follow the camcover breather hose which is connected.

Ivof I have replaced many oil filter housings, the PVC system is built into the housing.
Check with your local Volvo dealer because there is an extended warranty on them. If your car qualifies, I believe the warranty goes to 120k miles

 

As mentioned, it is part of the oil filter housing. Easy to see and possibly under warranty.
