Just acquired a 2000 S40 and it runs great and everything works except one function of the driver power seat. It adjusts in all positions (up/down, recline, tilt) but it will not move forward/backward. From what I can tell, all functions.motors are on the same fuse, so I ruling that out. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on how to diagnose the problem - and if it means I need a new motor/actuator for this position, is it a DIY project?
