Power Steering

The message display shows "Power Steering Service Needed" on my 2004 s40 2.4i. Is it just needing fluid or is there possibly more problems?

I think you can check the fluid.

Check the fluid. Is it making noise? Some of the early ones had some issues and I think there was a redesigned unit available.

sounds like a low fluid issue.
