Default Power Steering Fluid

My 2000 Volvo S40 2.0 seems to have picked up a leak from the Power Steering Fluid container/Pipes.

Problem is, the replacement pipe is not available anywhere here in South Africa.

How do I sort this out myself, to ensure no more leaks? I'm extremely scared that the fluid will soak my Cam/Timing Belt.

Pictures attached

Have you checked ebay? https://www.ebay.com/itm/20241049453...1&isGTR=1#shId

That link ships to South Africa, but it's located in the US and shipping cost almost as much as the part and you wouldn't get it until July. All I searched was 2000 Volvo S40 power steering hose. I would verify part number but it looks like it matches yours. It is a high pressure line so I don't think there is any remedy to fix them other than replace. There are also hydraulic line shops in my area that make them up from scratch. Maybe something similar is available near you?

Here's a link to the (excellent) RockAuto interface, showing some part numbers you can search on. Or I suppose they probably ship to SA (their shipping tends to be very cost-effective and quick, in my long experience ordering from them).

And yes, Dingus1 is absolutely correct that there's no solution other than a new hose. You really (!!!) don't want to soak your timing belt in power steering fluid!
