Default Nav Map disk stuck in reader

I have a 2007 Volvo S40 T5 that was recently purchased. The factory navigation system reads "no disk," in order to solve this problem we ordered a new disk. The new disk is inserted into the Nav reader, but the nav system still reads "no disk," and when I try to eject the disk nothing happens, the two green lights do not flash they stay solid. If anyone can point me in the right direction to resolve this I would really appreciate it! If all else fails, I plan to take the unit out and try and remove the disk manually.

Default You don’t know me but,…

I just saw your thread you posted back in 2019. How you owed a 2007 s40 Volvo T5. And that your disk was stuck in the player. I’m reaching out to you wondering if you ever found out how to resolve that issue? I see no advice was given in a reply. You see, I too have the exact car you have and have the exact same problem. This is what happens, I lower the front piece exposing where I insert the disk. I go to insert a disk and I goes about half way and comes to a solid stop. Something is in there preventing a disk to go any further. All the Nav Maps disks are accounted for in their case. So I’m not sure what’s in there. Will you please write back to me if you found out how to fix this? I know it’s asking a lot from a stranger. I just can’t seem to find out anything on the subject anywhere on the web. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you. I signed up just so I could reply to you.
