have a 2002 s40 automatic
got the airbag light couple of weeks ago...

and now when you put onto a radio station, it will scann to next station and also on cd,,and you have it on track 5 example, wont go backwards to track 4

thoughts anyone to get it back to normal as before

find the radio code.

unplug it fully from the car. wait 2-3 min or so and plug it back in.

 

do you mean take the radio out of the slot ..is it easy to take out radi

yes. on the lower right and left sides you will see two rectangles. push them in with a finger nail or coin, and they will pop out. pull on them to remove the radio.

 

pulled radio off
it says code,,have the code number but it is a 4 digit number,,entered first number,,how do you get it to go to the second number of the code??

also noiced when pulled radio there was an co axle plug not used ..what would that be used for

but same problem as before

 

thats messed up. might just be a fluke on timing...
