Scanning my 1997 GLE
Hey guys,
I know there has been some past posts about this (I did an hour of reading and now am more confused) but I have an ABS light on, dealership told me it was the abs control module, replaced with used unit that was inspected, didn't work.
I have a beautiful 1997 850 GLE which is the best car I've owned. Bar none.
Check out speed sensors and wheels- so far don't know what it is.
My friend has three scan tools (including a great matco scan tool) but none of them can read the volvo abs and other volvo codes.
So I need to get something. I've read about a few scan tools that people have used, so recommendations are great, but I also wanted to see if anyone had seen or tried this:
http://toronto.en.craigslist.ca/mss/pts/1563768387.html
Would that work? Is it worth a try?
Is my best bet to get an older laptop and go from there?
Any help would be apprecaited!

I am thinking of getting something like this and then buy the OBD2 to usb connector so that I can connect it to my car.
