Rear Window
the rear window use to only come up with assistance, but now won't move. Other windows ok and no noise from the rear window motor.
If it is the window regulator, is it possible to manually move this to close the window?
Any ideas appreciated.

It is the regulator. To close the window manually (and to keep it closed until you can get a new regulator), take off the door panel first. You will see the regulator at the lower left (if it is the right rear door that is your problem) or the lower right (if it is the left rear door that is your problem). You will see a small hole in the door frame close to the spot where the window comes out of it's slot when it it being rolled up. I pulled the window up manually with my hand until it was all the way up, and then I inserted a small stick into the hole, and the stick went into the hole and snugged up againat the bottom of the rolled up window and held it up. I left the door panel off until my ebay-purchased used regulator arrived, and then I installed the new regualtor, pulled out my little support stick and the repair was done. If you need any additional help, let me know.
